SENIOR PRODUCT SECURITY ENGINEER - STARSHIELD
Join our Starshield team, which harnesses SpaceX’s Starlink technology and launch capabilities to bolster national security initiatives. While Starlink caters to the consumer and commercial markets, Starshield is tailored for governmental applications, emphasizing earth observation, secure communications, and hosted payloads. The Starshield team is committed to constructing highly dependable in-space mesh networks, architecting secure systems for space access, and innovating next-generation communication and sensing software.
As a Senior Product Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the security of software across our extensive product lines. We seek individuals who have a proven history of delivering reliable software and possess a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Internet security design, including relevant cryptographic fundamentals. You should have a strategic mindset, be able to prioritize effectively, and be comfortable operating at various levels of abstraction. Ideally, you will have expertise in one or more of the following domains:
- Software engineering
- Applied cryptography
- Network security
- Operating system security
- Secure/authenticated boot
- Incident response and adversary detection
- Vulnerability research
Your ability to be adaptable, communicate effectively, and foster productive relationships with other engineering teams is essential for success in this role.
