Turner & Townsend is actively looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to enhance our Data Center team in West Memphis. The successful candidate will possess substantial experience in overseeing large-scale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee stakeholder management, collaborating with architects, engineers, and supply chains to ensure project compliance.
- Analyze, monitor, and manage critical milestone activities to prevent delays in project schedules.
- Implement robust project governance, processes, and systems to maintain project integrity.
- Ensure adherence to best practices across all projects.
- Prepare formal project status reports and additional documentation as required.
- Simultaneously track the progress of multiple construction projects to ensure compliance with approved design standards.
- Coordinate supplier interface through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
- Facilitate effective communication within the project team via regular meetings and written updates.
- Forecast and update crucial project milestones as necessary.
- Manage local design teams in alignment with commission criteria.
- Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors, and regional stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to RFIs raised from the field.
- Offer expertise in cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where necessary.
- Conduct independent reviews of status reports, drawing submissions, timelines, and costs from architects, contractors, and suppliers.
- Enhance client relationships to foster new opportunities.
- Provide strategic insights to project teams to achieve both client and business objectives.
- Capture and manage knowledge generated from each project effectively.
- Identify and implement process improvements for internal systems.
- Adhere to SOX control responsibilities as applicable.
