Job Overview
We are on the lookout for a talented Senior Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer to lead the deployment, assessment, and ongoing enhancement of our Quality Management System (QMS). The perfect fit for this role will spearhead quality initiatives across various divisions and project locations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, coordinating audits, and implementing corrective measures to elevate overall performance. This position demands strong leadership abilities, outstanding communication skills, and extensive knowledge of QA/QC processes in a project-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management & Compliance
- Supervise and assess the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to guarantee compliance and continuous improvement.
- Conduct audits to verify that procedures are consistently reviewed and effectively implemented.
- Diagnose root causes of quality losses and nonconformities, and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure project KPIs and performance metrics are accurately measured and reported.
Documentation & Records Control
- Manage, update, and disseminate all quality-related documentation within the company.
- Develop and maintain project quality system documentation prior to the onset of projects.
- Keep precise records of QA/QC meetings, inspections, and nonconformance reports.
- Organize and archive all project quality documentation upon project completion.
Coordination & Communication
- Facilitate management review meetings and track action items to ensure follow-through.
- Lead weekly QA/QC meetings to tackle issues and expedite resolutions.
- Align QA/QC activities with contractors, vendors, and site QA/QC teams.
- Represent the company in client quality management meetings and pre-bid discussions to ensure alignment with project requirements.
Audits & Inspections
- Conduct internal and external audits on behalf of management.
- Verify that contractor and vendor quality requirements and documentation are met.
- Oversee the resolution and closure of nonconformance reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quality control and inspection documentation.
Personnel & Training
- Evaluate the qualifications and training needs of quality inspection personnel.
- Ensure that designated personnel carry out inspections and controls systematically with appropriate evidence.
