RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide training and guidance on the management system to SpaceX management, departments, and internal stakeholders.Develop, implement, and refine policies and procedures to align with SpaceX business objectives, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.Evaluate SpaceX business processes, systems, and products through a comprehensive internal audit program to ensure adherence to customer standards, SpaceX policies, and ISO 9001 / AS9100 requirements.Apply corrective and preventive action processes to address compliance non-conformities and enhance the management system.Initiate and manage changes to management system procedures, policies, and audit checklists while leading implementation efforts.Support internal, vendor/supplier, and external audits.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in engineering or a STEM discipline.5+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical product design, testing, or manufacturing.PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:8+ years of relevant experience in quality systems engineering or related fields.

SENIOR QUALITY SYSTEMS ENGINEER (STARLINK)
SpaceX has created a low-latency broadband internet system designed to serve consumers around the world. Through a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites, Starlink provides fast, reliable internet connectivity to underserved areas, including rural communities where existing services are prohibitively expensive or unreliable. Our team is tasked with developing millions of devices that connect customers to our satellite network.
All products, including Starlink dishes, Wi-Fi routers, power supplies, and accessories, are designed and manufactured in-house at SpaceX. Engineers will be hands-on, collaborating across various technical disciplines to ensure the global success of Starlink. The Senior Quality Systems Engineer will enhance the quality management system and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and conducting quality system audits and analyzing QMS data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
