- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while executing daily quantity surveying and commercial functions. Oversee and mentor Project Surveyors, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager in relation to large-scale infrastructure projects for waste landfill operations.
- Responsible for drafting main contracts, evaluating Employer’s Change Orders, and preparing contract budgets and cost forecasts.
- Prepare and analyze subcontract tender inquiries, ensuring compliance with the company's procedures and systems for effective subcontract administration.
- Conduct assessments and negotiations regarding subcontractors' variations, interim payments, claims, and final accounts.
- Collaborate with the Engineering / Site Team and Procurement Team to investigate variation and claim issues, facilitating the preparation of contractual correspondence by the Commercial Manager.
- Undertake additional commercial tasks as assigned by the Commercial Manager.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports to track project progress and financial status.
