The Senior RCT Field Service Technician will play a pivotal role in providing both on-site and remote diagnostic and service support to RCT customers and service teams. This position is crucial in supporting engineering, customer support, and technical content teams, and will require independent work while representing Roush to our customers and technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site customer support to service centers and client locations across the US and Canada, diagnosing and repairing vehicles while conducting technician training.
- Provide remote customer and technical support, including warranty case management, remote vehicle diagnostics, and assistance via email and phone.
- Assist engineering teams by gathering data, reviewing new products, and collecting emissions information.
- Collaborate with engineering, technical publications, and marketing to create and review installation and service manuals, as well as marketing materials.
- Professionally resolve technical or other issues for customers.
- Coordinate travel and on-site visits as part of pre-trip activities.
- Complete after-trip reports and expense reports as part of post-trip activities.
- Mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Tackle complex technical challenges and address escalated issues as needed.
