The Forbes Intelligence team is dedicated to collecting and validating data that fuels Forbes’ renowned lists and rankings. Collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external data partners, we aim to create authoritative, timely, and accurate lists that cater to Forbes' affluent audience, including high net worth individuals, C-level executives, entrepreneurs, and innovators. These lists also provide insights for listmakers to assess their standing within their respective industries and regions.
This position is pivotal in shaping how Forbes sources, manages, and utilizes data across its lists. As part of a newly established function, the Senior Research Analyst will help develop and refine the processes, frameworks, and standards essential for Forbes' list data operations.
The Senior Research Analyst contributes to the evolution of Forbes lists by translating editorial methodologies into coherent, defensible data strategies that not only support existing lists but also foster new initiatives. This role emphasizes the identification, sourcing, validation, and management of data used in list production while ensuring data rights, quality, and reusability across Forbes properties. The Senior Research Analyst is a data and research specialist who collaborates closely with the Editorial and Accolades teams as well as internal stakeholders to guarantee efficient, defensible, and scalable execution of methodologies.
