Your Impact
As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be instrumental in ensuring precise revenue and cost accounting in line with applicable standards. You will collaborate with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Technology teams to support monthly closing processes, analyze revenue trends, enhance internal controls, and streamline processes. This position is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and enjoys utilizing technical accounting skills, analytical thinking, and teamwork to produce high-quality financial reports.
Work Location
This role requires relocation to Boston. The position follows a hybrid work schedule, with in-person collaboration expected from Tuesday to Friday, and the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays unless an accommodation is in place. What You’ll Do
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the order-to-cash process and its impact on revenue recognition and financial reporting.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly analytical reviews to ensure accurate recording of revenue and related accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and enter journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue, and related accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Professional Services, Operations, FP&A, and IT to ensure proper accounting treatment and accurate reporting.
- Assist in designing and maintaining reporting and analytics related to revenue and relevant metrics.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including reconciliations and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, executing key SOX controls and documenting processes.
