Join rapyuta robotics as a Senior Robotics Engineer specializing in localization, SLAM, and perception-driven technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of advanced algorithms that empower our robots to accurately perceive their environment and determine their positioning. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enhance localization and SLAM systems for both mobile and stationary robotic platforms.
- Create perception modules for 3D point-cloud processing, object detection, tracking, and sensor fusion.
- Integrate, test, and deploy software using ROS with Docker-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize and debug performance on CPU/GPU hardware to ensure real-time capabilities.
- Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and product teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
- Take ownership of features from architecture to field validation while mentoring junior engineers.
- Keep abreast of emerging research and propose innovative improvements to maintain our competitive edge.
