As a Senior Sales Engineer specializing in Key Accounts, you will leverage your technical expertise to enhance sales presentations, conduct product demonstrations, and facilitate technical evaluations (POVs). Your role will be pivotal in qualifying and closing opportunities with customers and partners, while also providing valuable feedback to the product team to prioritize features based on insights from customers, competitors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales, Product/Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, and executive leaders to effectively communicate Datadog's value proposition, vision, and strategy to clients.
- Drive the technical strategy for both immediate and long-term sales pursuits by managing the complete technical sales agenda for Fortune 100 and similar prospects, from pipeline generation to final purchasing decisions.
- Successfully close complex sales opportunities through advanced technical knowledge, competitive insights, and credibility.
- Engage in presentations at executive and technical forums, lead workshops, and articulate technical details into business implications for CIOs, SRE/Platform teams, security/compliance, and engineering leadership.
- Maintain accurate documentation and feedback in our CRM system regarding customer insights, including both wins and losses.
- Proactively interact and communicate with clients and Datadog's business/technical teams regarding product feedback and the competitive landscape.
