We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Sales Manager to lead and grow our Specialty Channel portfolio, which includes Department Stores, Book/Toy/Fandom Retail, and Promo partners. This position reports directly to the SVP of Global Sales and requires a strategic approach to relationship management and meticulous execution aimed at driving sell-in, optimizing sell-through, and fostering category growth within a vibrant retail environment. The primary responsibility of the Senior Sales Manager will be to cultivate client relationships by understanding their needs, developing strategic account plans, negotiating contracts, and providing exceptional customer service to drive long-term revenue growth and retention. As a vital contributor within our strategic sales channel, you will collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, utilizing strong communication skills to ensure transparency and align on strategic initiatives. This role demands a proactive strategic thinker with a competitive spirit and a sense of urgency to excel in the fast-paced consumer products industry.
Responsibilities:
- Account Leadership & Relationship Management:
- Develop channel strategies, including joint business plans and tailored quarterly/seasonal strategies for each retailer's unique format and shopper base.
- Act as the primary owner for all Specialty Retail accounts, encompassing department stores, pop culture retailers, book/toy chains, and promo/closeout buyers.
- Establish and nurture robust relationships across diverse accounts to ensure mutual growth and success.
