The Opportunity
Join our Advanced Data Analytics team within the Science and Data Division as a Senior Scientific Program Manager. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise to coordinate collaborative efforts among diverse stakeholders, aiming to establish a robust data infrastructure for new approach methodologies research. This includes fostering partnerships with academic researchers, technology innovators, government offices, and both public and private entities to create sustainable and interoperable platforms that expedite the advancement of new approach methodologies across various disease areas.

Are you adept at facilitating collaboration among computational biologists, data scientists, and governance specialists while adeptly navigating the complexities associated with data from emerging technologies and model systems? Can you effectively balance technical requirements with the immediate demands of rapidly evolving research domains? If so, you may be the ideal candidate for our Senior Scientific Program Manager position.
As a Senior Scientific Program Manager, you will spearhead program delivery for a multi-year, multi-institutional initiative focused on developing a comprehensive data platform for new approach methodologies. This platform will integrate diverse data sources, including in-vitro and in-silico models, to generate AI-ready datasets for foundational model development. You will oversee multifaceted projects encompassing data ingestion, harmonization, benchmarking, and the creation of discovery tools, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Collaboration with senior stakeholders to facilitate teamwork among technology developers, laboratory researchers, computational scientists, and ontology experts will be a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to engage with personnel from parallel programs in our Cancer Biology, Rare Disease, and Alzheimer’s Disease portfolios, among other research areas.
Your expertise in coordinating large-scale biomedical data initiatives, managing diverse stakeholder relationships across public, private, and governmental sectors, implementing project governance frameworks, and translating between technical and academic research teams across multiple disease domains will be invaluable.
