The Senior Security Engineer I is an essential technical position that emphasizes accelerating deals, advocating for platform security, and developing security features that bolster our customers' security and governance capabilities. This role involves supporting security and compliance during sales processes and facilitating communication between intricate customer security demands and technical product engineering. You will engage directly with customer security leaders, from security engineers to CISOs, to convey and clarify our product's security posture and control outcomes (e.g., penetration test results). Collaborating with Smartsheet engineering, you will create security features that align with real-world customer needs. You will also demonstrate product knowledge through tailored presentations to customers and at industry conferences and events.
This position reports to the Manager of Customer Trust and Engineering and can be based out of our Bellevue, WA office or remotely from anywhere within the U.S. where Smartsheet is registered as an employer.
