Position Summary: Senior Security Engineer II
As a pivotal member of our team, the Senior Security Engineer II will lead efforts to safeguard our applications and infrastructure against potential threats. Your expertise in Application Security will guide the strategy, execution, and delivery of complex security projects that enhance our security posture. You'll create secure-by-default systems, spearhead remediation efforts, and collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to integrate security into every phase of the software development life cycle.
This role is perfect for a professional who thrives at the intersection of business enablement and robust security controls, enjoys tackling intricate technical and organizational challenges, and is passionate about elevating security maturity in a fast-paced, distributed environment. While we embrace a remote-first approach, occasional travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the execution of significant, multi-quarter Application Security and Engineering projects, breaking them down into manageable, shippable iterations.
Analyze framework internals and enhance existing complex application security architectures (e.g., microservices, authentication systems, and API security).
Evaluate trade-offs and select appropriate security technologies and tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) to ensure optimal security measures are in place.
