What You’ll Do:Lead innovative research projects to uncover new vulnerabilities and threats in Generative AI and large language model (LLM) technologies.Develop and showcase proof-of-concept attacks and adversarial techniques for both educational and defensive purposes.Convert research findings into actionable detection content, product enhancements, and engineering priorities.Collaborate closely with product managers, detection engineers, and software development teams to integrate your research into Datadog's platform.Share your findings through blog posts, conference presentations, and open-source contributions to enhance customer trust and industry knowledge.Engage with external stakeholders, including cloud service providers and open-source communities, for responsible vulnerability disclosure and remediation.Who You Are:You have significant experience with Generative AI systems and a thorough understanding of vulnerabilities, such as prompt injection and model poisoning.You are familiar with the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and can apply traditional security principles (e.g., input handling, access control) in AI contexts.Your background includes offensive security, penetration testing, or vulnerability research within cloud or SaaS environments.You are capable of independently planning and executing research projects while aligning with stakeholders.You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to clearly articulate complex findings through documentation, internal sharing, and public presentations.You are proficient in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Rust for building tools and systems.
