Qualifications
Your Role:As a Senior Semiconductor Device Engineer, you will lead the design and development of state-of-the-art semiconductors for high-performance pulsed power systems utilized in Helion’s fusion generators. You will thrive in a dynamic environment that emphasizes rapid development cycles to create, test, and implement high-reliability and high-efficiency switching components.Responsibilities:Lead the collection and application of requirements for switching components to inform product design.Innovate and develop high-efficiency, high-reliability pulsed power electronics components and systems.Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical, mechanical, and physics principles into semiconductor development.Oversee development cycles, including hands-on prototyping, small-scale testing, and large-scale performance validation.Conduct simulations, testing, and analysis to validate designs, iterating quickly based on data-driven insights.Stay updated on emerging semiconductor materials, device architectures, and industry trends.Document design processes, specifications, test results, and findings to foster continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
