Your Role
As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Routing Tiling team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining essential components of our routing data pipeline. Your key responsibilities will include:
Creating and scaling systems that convert raw map data into efficient, production-ready routing tiles.
Enhancing data freshness and processing speed, aiming to reduce pipeline latency from days to mere hours.
Integrating real-time traffic and map updates to boost routing accuracy and guidance effectiveness.
Ensuring high reliability and availability of routing data for our global users and partners.
Developing automated systems to uphold data integrity, consistency, and quality at scale.
Key Qualifications
Proficiency in engineering modern C++ and Linux server applications within a commercial or open-source context, or equivalent experience with Rust in performance-critical systems.
Solid understanding of operating systems and distributed computing.
