Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to become a pivotal member of our Core Experiences Team. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining the essential services and SDKs that enhance Speechify’s product experience across various platforms. This role is crucial for anyone who thrives at the intersection of product development and infrastructure, possesses strategic thinking capabilities, and is enthusiastic about crafting clear, reliable APIs and efficient systems that significantly improve user experience.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various Product Teams to outline project scopes, streamline tasks for expedited customer feedback, address integration and UX trade-offs unique to different product teams, and deliver robust solutions through our cross-platform SDK.
- Enhance existing functionalities by accelerating load times and implementing smarter parsing through the design of more efficient abstractions and enhanced algorithms.
- Deploy cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs utilizing Kotlin.
