Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Experiences Team. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining the essential services and SDKs that drive Speechify’s product experience across various platforms. This pivotal role is perfect for an individual who excels at the crossroads of product and infrastructure, possesses strategic thinking capabilities, and is dedicated to creating clear, reliable APIs and straightforward systems that significantly improve user experiences.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Speechify’s Product Teams to define project scopes, minimize project sizes for quicker customer feedback, navigate integration and UX trade-offs, and deliver solutions through our cross-platform SDK.
- Enhance existing functionalities to ensure quicker loading times and smarter parsing by designing more efficient abstractions and refining our algorithms.
- Develop and deploy cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs utilizing Kotlin.
