Overview
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Experiences Team. This key team is responsible for creating and maintaining the essential services and SDKs that deliver the Speechify experience across various platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product development and infrastructure, possesses strategic thinking skills, and is dedicated to designing clear, reliable APIs and efficient systems that enhance user experience.
Your Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Speechify’s Product Teams to define project scopes, identify opportunities to streamline efforts for quicker customer feedback, and navigate integration and UX considerations across different product areas, all while delivering effective solutions through our cross-platform SDK.
- Enhance existing functionalities to improve loading speeds and parsing intelligence by creating more efficient abstractions and refining algorithms.
- Develop cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and job scripts utilizing Kotlin.
