The Role
We are in search of a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure to design and sustain cloud solutions and backend services that support millions of students and educators. In this pivotal role, you will blend backend engineering with infrastructure management, spearheading initiatives that enhance reliability, security, and developer productivity across the organization. This role is part of the Tech Foundation team, which oversees the core cloud infrastructure, shared data services, and developer tools that enable our product teams to create innovative, reliable, and secure offerings. The ideal candidate will be adept at writing production-quality code, defining infrastructure standards, and, most importantly, will thrive in a collaborative environment focused on solving complex challenges.

What You'll Do
- Design and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment systems to ensure high availability.
- Create and implement high-performance backend services and shared libraries that support core functionalities across our product suite.
- Engineer robust data pipelines and optimize data storage solutions to manage production-scale workloads.
- Produce clean, maintainable code and lead modernization initiatives.
