Role Overview
The Egress team plays a pivotal role in managing Cloudflare's network-as-a-service, specifically focusing on egress connectivity for our diverse product range. As a vital technical contributor, you will help shape a state-of-the-art network software infrastructure that facilitates connections from Cloudflare’s network to any destination. This technology supports products like WARP, our Zero Trust platform, and the egress proxy for Cloudflare's iCloud Private Relay.
You will collaborate closely with various engineering teams to interpret their needs and translate them into new platform capabilities. Additionally, partnering with Network Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), you will optimize the technology to fully utilize Cloudflare’s premier edge network.
Your involvement will span the entire software development lifecycle, including system design, documentation, and coding.
