We accomplish this by leveraging data for accurate predictions, setting realistic expectations prior to order placement, managing deviations post-order, and offering clear tracking to maintain trust even when circumstances change.
Your Mission:
Lead teams responsible for the foundational components of our customer time predictions.
Guarantee the high reliability of multiple low-latency, high-throughput systems that drive time predictions. This includes enhancing domain-level SLOs and SLAs, maintaining a well-trained on-call rotation, and conducting incident analysis and follow-up.
Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Analytics to maximize engineering's impact on business KPIs.
Coordinate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, collaborating with other domain leaders in Logistics and across all Regional Brands to ensure seamless integration.
Manage and mentor engineering managers and senior individual contributors across three squads. Establish a robust delegation framework so decisions are made closest to the context. Cultivate a resilient second layer of leadership and attract top engineering talent.
Shape the Long-term Domain Vision by translating tribe-level objectives into a clear technical roadmap. Balance feature development with reliability, cost efficiency, and modernization initiatives.
