About the Role:
As a vital member of our Sales team, the Senior Solution Engineer at Kong plays a crucial part in our ongoing growth and success. This position collaborates closely with our Account Executive team to guide the technical sales cycle with both new and existing clients, focusing on Enterprise and Strategic accounts within the French region. Your Responsibilities
Assist field sales in demonstrating the value of Kong's API Management and Connectivity solutions to customers.
Cultivate trust-based relationships with clients throughout the entire sales lifecycle, from initial discovery and requirement gathering to product demonstrations and implementation.
Support Proof of Concepts (PoCs) throughout the evaluation process.
Onboard and train new clients while identifying revenue opportunities with existing customers.
Collaborate with support, product, and engineering teams to prioritize customer needs and ensure complete satisfaction across assigned accounts.
Develop technical documentation for DevOps, implementations, and service engagements.
Engage in innovative lead generation activities, including writing blog posts, leading webinars, and participating in industry events.
Perform additional tasks as required by your manager.
Your Qualifications
5-7+ years of pre-sales Solution Engineering or relevant experience within a SaaS, Open-source, or Enterprise Software environment.
Experience with Open-source technology.
Solid understanding of API Management, Integration, Cloud Computing trends, and Open-source business models.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to lead discussions with C-level executives, as well as Product Managers and Engineers.
