Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:8 to 11 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role, including 5 to 7 years in pre-sales for enterprise software solutions.A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or widely-used programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#).Proven experience in designing scalable and highly available distributed systems, both in cloud environments and on-premises.Demonstrated ability to analyze complex application architectures and provide actionable recommendations for improvement through technology.Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for simplifying complex technical and business concepts for diverse audiences.Strategic thinker, capable of collaborating with sales teams to develop multi-threaded account strategies and aligning MongoDB resources towards shared objectives.Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.Desirable Experience:Experience in selling database solutions or deploying applications with major cloud providers.Familiarity with database programming and data modeling.Background in data engineering or AI/ML initiatives.Experience in modernizing legacy systems into efficient and scalable technology stacks.Understanding of popular sales methodologies/frameworks such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
