SENIOR SOURCING SPECIALIST - CONSTRUCTION (STARLINK)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that mitigate risk, promote continuous cost savings, and align with corporate objectives regarding payment terms, cash flow, and on-time delivery.
- Foster strong relationships, internally and externally, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve consensus on strategic opportunities.
- Assess construction project delivery methods to determine the most effective approach for each project.
- Organize and evaluate construction proposals using Masterformat divisions.
- Analyze contractor EMR ratings to identify potential risks.
- Create should-cost models for MEP equipment, including chillers, HVAC systems, electrical panels, wiring, pipes, and plumbing fixtures.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Maintain and develop a diverse contractor pool, anticipating future construction demands.
- Negotiate advantageous terms, including pricing, delivery timelines, and quality standards, ensuring supplier compliance with project requirements.
- Oversee supply chain logistics to guarantee timely delivery of materials and equipment, coordinating with project managers to prevent delays.
- Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process from inception to completion, evaluating bids and identifying negotiation opportunities and potential risks.
