Join our culinary team as a Senior Sous Chef specializing in Greek cuisine, where you will oversee all kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of food quality and hygiene. You will manage duty schedules, conduct bi-monthly presentations featuring innovative dishes and trends, and ensure compliance with kitchen hygiene protocols.
As a leader, you will monitor staff grooming and uniform standards, evaluate team performance, and play a pivotal role in the promotion of team members. Your responsibilities also include preparing timely meals for various service outlets and banquet functions, conducting regular inspections of kitchen facilities, and developing exciting food promotions.
Engaging with guests to ensure their satisfaction is key, as you address any complaints directly. Collaborating with the Food & Beverage Manager, you will drive events and special promotions, manage food costs by reviewing requisitions, and minimize waste. Ensuring that your team is informed about operational issues and aiding in the development of future chefs will also be a part of your role.
Stay informed about food service trends and maintain exceptional hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP). You will attend departmental meetings and facilitate communication among staff to maximize revenue and control operational costs.
