Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Staff Cell Quality Engineer to spearhead the establishment of incoming quality inspection targets and standards for the battery cells utilized in our energy storage systems and the raw materials involved in cell manufacturing. This pivotal role will ensure that our purchased cells meet stringent performance and safety standards while establishing quality metrics for critical components like electrode rolls used in production.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in cell quality assurance, focusing on cell integration for energy storage systems and the intricacies of cell manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include defining, implementing, and managing inspection procedures and quality metrics to ensure the reliability and performance of our sodium-ion battery systems. This senior-level position offers a high degree of autonomy and requires the ability to independently establish best-in-class internal standards and processes. The role reports directly to the Chief Scientist and is based on-site at our facility in Burlingame, California.
