Who We Are
Founded by a former leader from Oscar Health, we are a seed-stage startup with $17M in funding, proudly supported by the visionary founders and investors of Hugging Face, Rocket Money, Oscar Health, CaseText, Forerunner Ventures, and RRE Ventures, among others. With robust funding secured for the coming years, we are poised for growth.
Location: While many of our engineering teams work remotely across the US, we highly encourage applicants from New York who are enthusiastic about a hybrid work environment. Typically, our local team members work from our Chelsea office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays designated for remote work.
Role Overview
AI Integration: Streamline developer workflows and internal operations by managing API and MCP access to our infrastructure while ensuring cost-effectiveness and security.
Developer Experience: Optimize the performance of our TypeScript monorepo, enhance the Nx build system, transition from CommonJS to ESM, and refine our Docker-based DevContainers.
CI/CD Operations: Advance GitHub Actions workflows, implement faster CI runners, optimize caching strategies, and manage multi-environment deployments (development/production) with Pulumi.
Infrastructure Management: Oversee AWS infrastructure, including ECS, Aurora RDS (Gel), VPC networking, and monitoring stack (OpenTelemetry, Honeycomb, Sentry, and soon Datadog), along with AWS access provisioning.
MDM & Security & Compliance: Assist with HIPAA compliance efforts, including RBAC implementation, encryption standards, and security monitoring using GuardDuty/CloudTrail, while establishing stringent MDM standards.
Monitoring & Observability: Enhance our observability stack for both web and mobile platforms and contribute to reducing on-call workloads.
