Your Mission
As a Senior Engineer I in Systems Engineering at ASM, you will be instrumental in transforming complex concepts into reliable, high-performance semiconductor equipment. This role places you at the intersection of hardware, software, physics, and process technology, where you will design, integrate, and validate advanced systems that drive next-generation semiconductor manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage in system engineering activities spanning electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software domains, with a keen understanding of system-level interactions and trade-offs.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of system engineering specifications, ensuring coherence between functional requirements, design intent, and execution.
- Participate in system integration activities during assembly, bring-up, and final testing phases of new product designs, addressing and resolving integration challenges.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of new product concepts and design proposals, conduct risk analyses, and support architectural decisions in collaboration with senior engineers and architects.
- Diagnose intricate system-level issues, propose and execute corrective actions while adhering to ASM’s product design and safety standards.
- Plan and orchestrate engineering projects, including schedule definition, progress tracking, and reporting.
