Qualifications
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement systems engineering processes in accordance with IEEE 15288 standards. Provide mentorship to other team members in systems engineering methodologies. Facilitate communication between customer representatives, program managers, software developers, and the systems engineering team, emphasizing the importance of effective verbal and written communication skills. Design and model system architectures for remote sensor data processing, creating design artifacts through Model Based Systems Engineering. Oversee systems engineering staff and contractors in collaboration with the program management team. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience in engineering, computer science, or remote sensing.Five (5) years of dedicated experience in systems engineering.At least two (2) years of experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication capabilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with remote sensor systems or software architecture.
