The Senior Technical Consultant for Charles River Everywhere (CRE) will play a pivotal role in enhancing the configuration and optimization of advisor workflows within a wealth management setting. This position is essential for designing seamless user journeys, refining processes that support advisors, and ensuring that platform functionalities align with the strategic needs of the business. The ideal candidate will possess substantial hands-on experience with CRE configuration coupled with a deep understanding of business operations driven by advisors. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and collaborative skills to engage effectively with stakeholders across business and technology domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize and configure Charles River Everywhere (CRE) to enhance wealth management operations and advisor workflows.
- Design and refine user journeys, navigation frameworks, layouts, and entitlement-based views to improve user experience.
- Convert advisor and business requirements into scalable CRE configurations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in wealth management to streamline advisor-centered processes and enhance platform usability.
- Facilitate workflow improvements across portfolio management, trading, and other related wealth processes.
- Work alongside technology teams to ensure system configurations are integrated with overarching platform architecture.
- Offer insights and best practices for CRE configuration and process enhancement.
- Support the validation, testing, and implementation of configuration modifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in wealth management environments, specifically in supporting advisor-focused business processes.
- A minimum of 8 years in IT roles.
- 3-4+ years of hands-on experience with configuring Charles River Everywhere, including user workflows, navigation frameworks, and entitlement-based views.
- Strong grasp of advisor workflows and operational processes within wealth management.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively engaging with both business users and technical teams.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Charles River Development (CRD) Investment Book of Record functionalities, including activity posting, position and tax lot maintenance, and reconciliation with custodial books.
Additional Information
This role requires an initial week of orientation at a local office, followed by remote work unless otherwise requested.
