Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Treasury Analyst plays a pivotal role in executing, leading, and controlling essential financial processes for regional operations. This position merges operational, regulatory, and internal control responsibilities while contributing to financial analysis and decision-making through strategic cash flow management, investments, and currency operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Banking Operations Management
- Ensure the accuracy of financial information through balance inquiries, receipts reconciliation, and review of banking expenses.
- Manage open items and guarantee timely transmission of banking transactions to global teams.
- Ensure proper execution and validation of payments through banking portals.
2. Regulatory Compliance and Reporting
- Prepare and submit mandatory reports (Banco de la República, DIAN, or others).
- Keep bank account files, access, and operational conditions updated.
- Manage certifications and official documentation for internal and external audits.
3. Operational Support and Relationships
- Provide expert support to internal departments, GFS global, and subsidiaries regarding payments, reconciliations, reports, and banking operations.
- Coordinate critical operational processes such as instructions letters, collection of returned checks, and H2H rejection reports.
- Manage cases in Bizagi ensuring response times and compliance with SOX controls.
4. Strategic Business Support
- Analyze daily and weekly cash flow to anticipate liquidity needs.
- Participate in decision-making regarding short-term investments and currency negotiation.
- Identify financial risks and propose enhancements in processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
