Qualifications
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.- Extensive experience in UX design.- Over 10 years of combined professional design experience, including user-centered design (UCD) and UI/UX design.- A strong online portfolio demonstrating research-driven design decisions for responsive web and mobile applications.- A results-oriented mindset with high standards for quality, accuracy, attention to detail, and overall excellence.- Expertise in user research methodologies and user-centered design principles.- Advanced understanding of user personas, user flows, affinity mapping, and other research techniques.- Familiarity with the complete life cycle of website development, from discovery through user testing and evaluation.- Experience in identifying UX issues and formulating recommendations based on evaluations of existing systems.- Knowledge of designing web and mobile applications compliant with 508 and US Web Design System (USWDS) standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead comprehensive UX design initiatives, encompassing research, blueprinting, and assessment of existing systems.
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of multiple websites and applications for various clients in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Conduct all phases of user research and analysis to inform the development of highly usable web pages and application interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and federal clients to design and implement innovative, intuitive solutions that meet the needs of our federal customers and their stakeholders.
- Develop wireframes, storyboards, and site maps to effectively convey interaction and design concepts for websites and applications.
- Create scalable design resources to facilitate project collaboration and expand ECS creative services.
