About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at pavago as an SEO Specialist, where your main focus will be to enhance website visibility, boost organic search rankings, and drive inbound traffic. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technical SEO, keyword research, content optimization, and analytics. In this role, you will ensure our websites are not only search engine-friendly but also user-friendly, consistently working towards improving their authority and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research & Strategy: Conduct comprehensive keyword research utilizing tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Keyword Planner. Align keywords with user intent and various stages of the buyer journey, crafting content strategies that support organic growth goals.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimize metadata, headings, schema markup, and internal linking, ensuring all content is SEO-friendly while maintaining an engaging readability and brand tone. Carry out content gap analyses and recommend new pages or blog topics.
- Technical SEO: Perform detailed site audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, or SEMrush. Identify and fix crawl errors, indexation issues, duplicate content, and broken links. Enhance Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile performance, alongside managing XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonical tags.
- Off-Page SEO & Link Building: Develop ethical link-building strategies, including guest posting, PR outreach, and partnerships. Monitor backlink profiles for toxicity and disavow harmful links as needed.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion metrics via Google Analytics and Google Search Console, creating dashboards in platforms like Data Studio, Looker, or Power BI. Provide weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with content writers, developers, and marketing teams to implement effective SEO strategies. Offer SEO insights during website redesigns, migrations, and product launches.
