Role Overview:
Moonshot is creating a talent pool of proficient Analysts specialising in Serious Organised Crime to bolster an ongoing project. In this position, you will primarily focus on gathering and analysing open-source online data while contributing to specific organised crime initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for refining our research methodologies and enriching our clients' strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mapping online organised crime activities and identifying networks of accounts across various platforms.
- Collecting and analysing data from diverse sources, including social media and organised crime-related content, utilizing our proprietary tools.
- Developing quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to analyse extensive datasets.
- Producing high-quality analytical reports that present findings in a clear and impactful manner.
- Adhering to rigorous reporting deadlines while delivering insights to clients.
- Effectively communicating findings to clients, adapting your presentation to meet their strategic needs.
- Proactively identifying potential challenges to project delivery and proposing viable solutions, while taking ownership of process improvements.
- Maintaining comprehensive databases and regularly reviewing social media and messaging platforms for project integration.
- Conducting in-depth research and analysis on identified trends and themes.
- Sharing subject matter expertise related to organised crime and online harms throughout the organization.
- Fostering strong relationships with clients and aiding business development by uncovering opportunities for new projects.
