Your Key Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical fire alarm systems.
Inspect components of fire alarm systems such as automatic detectors, controls, panels, cables, and connections.
Identify potential improvements for fire alarm systems and communicate these to your project leader for actionable recommendations.
Foster a collaborative environment with your fellow technicians.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and be responsible for the proper use of provided materials, tools, and transportation.
What You Will Be Doing
For over 20 years, Nexton has been active in designing, realizing, and maintaining complete smart electrical installations across various sectors, including entertainment, healthcare, special projects, and property revitalization.
As a Service Technician for Fire Alarm Systems, you will engage in various projects, each unique in its challenges. Sometimes you will work on a large redevelopment project for a corporate building where you and your team will optimize installations, while at other times, you will independently troubleshoot issues in complexes such as those in Haarlem.
Upon arriving at a project site, you will communicate directly with the manager or designated contact. You will explain your planned activities and inquire about any specifics. You will also ensure clear communication once your tasks are completed.
