Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a trained electrician or industrial electrician with previous experience in the industrial or service sector. We value the following qualifications:Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skillsSome mechanical experience (a definite advantage!)Prior work with lifting equipment or gatesProficiency in Swedish, both spoken and writtenA valid B driver's license (essential for traveling to customer sites)Ability to work at varying heightsComfortable working in warm and humid environmentsAs you will often be the first point of contact for our clients, we appreciate candidates who take responsibility, are customer-focused, and are proactive in suggesting improvements. Join our dynamic team at Konecranes as a Service Technician in Kristianstad, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing our clients' cranes, gates, and lifting equipment. Most of your work will take place in the field, where the action happens!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
- Troubleshooting issues to identify and resolve faults
- Repairing and rejuvenating older equipment
- Installing and assembling new products to meet modern needs
As a Service Technician, you will represent Konecranes to our customers, providing them with assurance, quality service, and great solutions that could even brighten their day.
You will work with cutting-edge systems and have access to the best tools, processes, and technical support available. On-call duties may be part of your role, and you will report to our Operations Manager. Certain assignments may require a security clearance.
