About the job
Under the supervision of the Deputy Head of the Sewer Network Maintenance Service, you will be responsible for the upkeep of wastewater and stormwater networks, as well as occasionally driving a vacuum truck to replace designated drivers.
Main Responsibilities:
Wastewater Network Maintenance:
Unblocking and cleaning networks and connections.
Pumping grease traps.
Cleaning and pumping at wastewater treatment plants and lift stations.
Stormwater Network Maintenance:
Sand removal from networks.
Maintenance of grates and drains.
Pumping sumps and sedimentation chambers.
Driving a vacuum truck in the absence of assigned drivers, diagnosing dysfunctions, and reporting to management.
You will work in pairs with the truck driver or independently during the cleaning of drains and stormwater grates while operating the mini-combined vacuum truck or crane truck.
It is essential to ensure minor preventive maintenance of the vehicles used, monitoring levels and filters, as well as diagnosing any operational issues encountered on-site.
You will also perform small manual tasks, cleaning facilities, and maintaining green spaces.
