Provide mentorship and support to enhance team morale and productivity.
Ensure adherence to safety and food handling protocols.
Assist in the training and development of staff to ensure proficient performance.
Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and rectify issues as they arise.
2. Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure prompt and courteous greeting of customers, delivering high-quality service.
Effectively resolve customer complaints to guarantee a positive experience.
Oversee the service area to ensure speedy and accurate processing of customer orders.
Set an example in delivering outstanding customer service and managing challenging situations with professionalism.
3. Operational Efficiency:
Supervise daily operations, ensuring smooth restaurant functioning during your shift.
Ensure food preparation aligns with A&W's quality standards, including portioning and cooking times.
Oversee kitchen and front-line staff to maintain workflow efficiency during peak times.
Ensure the safe use and proper maintenance of equipment throughout the shift.
4. Inventory & Stock Management:
Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for operations.
Support inventory tracking, ordering supplies, and proper stock storage to minimize waste.
Monitor food and beverage stock levels and assist in replenishments as necessary.
Enforce stock rotation practices to prevent product expiration and reduce waste.
5. Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
Supervise cleanliness across the restaurant, including kitchen, dining areas, and restrooms.
Conduct regular safety and sanitation checks, reporting issues to management.
Ensure staff are trained in food safety and cleaning procedures.
6. Cash Handling & Register Operations:
Assist in managing cash register operations, ensuring transactions are accurate and efficient.
Oversee cash handling protocols and ensure team compliance.
Provide support in cash management tasks as needed.
