Key Responsibilities
· Efficiently operate all store equipment.
· Stock ingredients from delivery to storage areas, ensuring freshness and availability.
· Prepare delicious products in accordance with our high standards.
· Handle and process telephone orders accurately.
· Conduct inventory checks and complete necessary documentation.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning equipment and the facility regularly.
Training
Comprehensive orientation and on-the-job training will be provided.
Communication Skills
· Demonstrate the ability to comprehend and execute written instructions correctly.
· Effectively communicate with customers and team members, both in person and over the phone.
Essential Skills
· Quick and accurate mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) are required.
· Capability to provide correct monetary change.
· Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to efficiently take and process orders.
· Proficient in entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Environment
You will be exposed to various weather conditions while performing tasks outside, and in-store temperatures may vary significantly. You will also encounter food odors, cornmeal dust, and may work in cramped spaces such as a walk-in cooler. Safety precautions are necessary when handling hot surfaces and sharp equipment.
