JOB SUMMARY
Join our dynamic team as a Shift Leader at Ruby Tuesday! In this pivotal role, you will assist the management team in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. You will be responsible for training, mentoring, and leading our Team Members to ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your professionalism and leadership will be key to driving sales, enhancing profitability, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain consistent attendance as scheduled.
- Ensure every guest receives outstanding service by embodying our values of CHARM and CARE.
- Support the management team with recruiting, training, and engaging with Team Members through daily interactions.
- Comply with all company policies and state and federal wage and hour regulations.
- Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure all items are in good working order.
- Manage processes such as line checks, food safety protocols, and prep lists.
- Verify food preparation aligns with specifications for portion, preparation, and presentation.
- Assist the management team in implementing new initiatives including product and menu launches.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will supervise a team of 15 to 25 members.
