Lead a High-Performing Team During Your Shift
- Establish a positive, can-do atmosphere that energizes your team
- Provide clear guidance and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling as needed
- Coach team members in real-time, offering support and direction throughout each shift
- Handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary
Drive Operational Excellence
- Train and mentor your team to adhere to RaceTrac’s standards for guest service, food safety, and cleanliness
- Oversee proper inventory management, vendor check-in, and promotional communications
- Manage key store operations including write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation
- Facilitate effective shift change communication and ensure team alignment
Foster Communication & Accountability
- Relay important updates from management to shift associates efficiently
- Monitor task completion and provide immediate feedback to enhance performance
- Encourage a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork within your team
- Proactively engage during peak times or challenges, demonstrating exemplary leadership
What We Seek
- 2–3 years of experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred
- 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused settings
- Ability to follow through on commitments and coach others effectively
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
Essential Requirements for This Role
- High School Diploma or GED (completed or in progress)
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks without frequent breaks
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
