Position Title: Side Load Trash Truck Driver
Role Summary: As a Side Load Trash Truck Driver, you will operate a heavy-duty truck (over 5 tons) to transport solid waste efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Role Summary: As a Side Load Trash Truck Driver, you will operate a heavy-duty truck (over 5 tons) to transport solid waste efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a side-load collection truck on designated routes, delivering outstanding service to our customers.
- Utilize joystick controls to manage the collection arm and lift mechanisms effectively.
- Exercise caution near obstacles such as mailboxes, landscaping, and utilities.
- Document pickups and deliveries accurately to maintain service quality.
- Manage waste loading and unloading while following safety protocols.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes or issues.
- Complete vehicle inspections and maintain compliance with all DOT regulations.
- Operate compaction equipment to maximize load efficiency.
- Report mechanical issues immediately to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Ensure cleanliness of the vehicle, both inside and out.
- Identify and manage prohibited waste items appropriately.
- Participate in safety meetings and maintain required certifications.
