While many roles at Coinbase are primarily remote, we do require in-person participation throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are organized multiple times annually to promote collaboration, connection, and alignment. Your attendance is both expected and fully supported.
- Collaborate with the Coinbase Infrastructure team to enhance existing CI/CD frameworks for IT services, including enterprise network platforms.
- Work with the security and compliance teams to integrate surveillance tools into deployment pipelines.
- Design and implement automation solutions to optimize operational IT support workflows.
- Manage Kubernetes deployment, implementation, and support.
- Develop a technological roadmap aligned with product requirements.
- Participate in on-call support for the AWS service deployment pipeline.
- Promote a DevSecOps mindset and establish best practices for maintaining high-level cloud security.
- Maintain a standard of excellence in technical documentation across IT engineering.
- Engage in an operational environment with strict SLAs and managed incident response and disaster recovery strategies.
- Lead incident response, conduct root cause analyses, and facilitate blameless retrospectives.
- Define metrics and implement automation opportunities based on monitoring and observability.
