Join Midwest Plastic Engineering, Inc., a leader in custom injection molding serving diverse industries such as automotive, telecommunications, HVAC, and plumbing. We are looking for a dedicated and seasoned Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Maintenance Department in Sturgis, MI.
In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of injection molding machines and associated equipment, ensuring optimal operation and efficiency.

- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient in Reading Schematics
- Skilled in Wiring Electrical Circuits
- Strong Communication Skills and Ability to Work Independently or in a Team
- Solid Understanding of Hydraulic and Electrical Systems
- Effective Troubleshooting Skills in PLCs, Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic Systems
- Prior Experience in Injection Molding is Preferred
- Background in Industrial Hydraulics and Electricity (up to 480V) is Preferred
- Maintain and Repair Injection Molding Machines (75T to 850T)
- Oversee All Supporting Equipment including Conveyors, Grinders, and Pneumatic Systems
- Ability to Read and Interpret Blueprints
- Perform Preventative Maintenance as per Scheduled Protocols
- Document Repairs and Maintenance Activities to Comply with ISO Standards
- Ensure a Clean and Organized Work Environment
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Starting Pay: $24 to $34 per hour based on qualifications and experience
