Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications for spacecraft systems, ground infrastructure, and engineering tools.Analyze system requirements and user needs to create software solutions that fulfill performance, reliability, and operational objectives.Develop modular, maintainable software components that seamlessly integrate within larger system architectures.Work with engineering teams to ensure effective system integration, thorough testing, and operational readiness.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues that arise during development, testing, or operational use.Engage in system architecture discussions and propose enhancements to existing software and system designs.Create comprehensive technical documentation, including software design descriptions, diagrams, flowcharts, and other development artifacts.Support software verification and validation activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and system-level testing.Enhance and maintain existing software systems through regular updates, bug fixes, and performance optimizations.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field is required.
