About the Role
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer, Infrastructure to enhance the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of our data-intensive systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions that promote the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of our data systems.
Identify and mitigate technical debt through code refactoring and architectural improvements to enhance long-term efficiency and performance.
Optimize PostgreSQL databases for enhanced performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness by focusing on query optimization, indexing, and capacity planning.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices using tools like Pulumi, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation to ensure consistent and automated deployments.
Establish robust monitoring and alerting systems with Grafana or Datadog to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.
Enhance system observability through improved metrics, logging, and tracing to support data-driven decision-making and incident response.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience in building scalable, reliable, and maintainable infrastructure systems.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience with database optimization techniques.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices and tools.
Experience with monitoring tools and practices.
