Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years of proven software development experience.Strong understanding of database technologies, including SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.Familiarity with Java programming; knowledge of Python, C++, or similar languages is a plus.A proactive approach to learning and understanding business needs to deliver clean designs and high-quality code.Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, coupled with a structured and independent work style to tackle complex technical and business challenges.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the financial industry and/or knowledge of securities trading.Familiarity with other Trading System IT vendors.A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.Knowledge of domain-specific standards for securities trading, such as FIX protocol, SWIFT MT, or MX (ISO20022).

Our team is involved in exciting and challenging projects, contributing to various initiatives in the realm of Securities Trading, Transaction Reporting, Securities Settlement, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop software using PL/SQL and our proprietary Avaloq Script language.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Team Lead, Product Owner, Business Analysts, and fellow Software Engineers.
- Create solution designs for new developments and work with technical leads and architects for reviews.
- Participate in client workshops and assist business analysts in analyzing requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive solutions within the team's scope.
- Enhance and optimize existing functionalities.
- Develop and maintain automated tests and ensure quality assurance.
- Take ownership and accountability for your areas of expertise.
- Adopt an agile mindset and efficiently utilize ticketing platforms like Jira.
