The Role
We are seeking a passionate Software Engineering Manager ready to create and deliver significant work. In this role, you will be instrumental in scaling our engineering initiatives, fostering software development excellence, and cultivating a high-performance culture within the team.
This position demands robust leadership skills, extensive technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions that directly enhance patient care. You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other key stakeholders to innovate new features and improve the overall value, performance, and scalability of our platform.
This is not a maintenance position; it is a builder role. You will partner with engineers, clinicians, operators, and AI scientists to address practical challenges faced by dental teams. Your work will help develop a cohesive platform that supersedes a fragmented array of tools.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a talented team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Provide regular feedback, support for career development, and technical guidance.
Oversee the technical design, development, deployment, and operations of significant components of our platform and products, integrated into dental practice workflows for detecting dental conditions from x-rays, as well as operations for insurance companies. This role involves exciting collaborations with machine learning engineers and healthcare professionals.
Guide architectural decisions and code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices in software engineering. Encourage innovation while maintaining a balance between speed of delivery and quality.
Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and clinical experts to ensure the engineering team delivers features that meet customer needs and align with product goals.
